The Third Annual Italian Festival of Mississippi will be on March 13-15 at the Bolivar County Expo Building in Cleveland, Miss.

“The Mississippi Delta has such a rich Italian heritage, we are really inspired to celebrate that great tradition,” Gary Gainspoletti, co-chair of the Italian Festival, offered. “We want the entire community to come out and enjoy the excitement.”

The weekend activities will provide divertimento (good time) for the entire family.  Come immerse yourself in the Italian culture and enjoy events such as wine tasting, bocce, Italian cooking lessons, Italian speaking lessons, grape stomping, a spaghetti gravy contest, and a children’s zone. The event will also feature an Italian cooking contest.

Concessions will also be available for sale, as well as  Italian- inspired goods. Commemorative t-shirts will also be available for sale.
